What could be better than celebrating an exciting year of milestones for us here at Opera Mediaworks?
Celebrating in Barcelona, of course!
Opera Mediaworks will be heading to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona February 24 to 27 to contribute to the world’s greatest mobile event of 2014- a place overflowing with innovation, technology, and progress. On February 25 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm, CEO Mahi de Silva will be participating in a televised panel discussion focusing on the success of local apps, and Scott Swanson, President of Global Advertiser Sales, will be moderating a panel discussion at the the Mobile Media Summit titled, ‘30,000 Feet and Climbing: What CMOs Want in Mobile.’ You don’t want to miss this exciting opportunity to see what is in the future for mobile.
This past year is definitely one to celebrate, with the Opera Mediaworks mobile ad platform achieving the major milestone of reaching more than 500 million unique mobile consumers a month globally. Additionally, the Opera Mobile Store is the largest independent and cross-platform app store in the world, reaching more than 100 million monthly visitors and offering more than 200,000 apps across most platforms, including Android, Java, Blackberry, Symbian, and iOS. With our substantial expansion in Latin America helped by the addition of our Hunt Mobile Ads team, we are moving with the trends of smartphone and tablet growth.
So, come celebrate with us in Barcelona and share in our excitement! You can find us at the Opera Software booth in Hall 5, Stand C21 and in the App Planet pavilion (Hall 8.1, Stand I16).
We’ll see you there.
