February 25 finds us on our second day at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and already exciting news has come down the pipeline.
Today, Opera Mediaworks announced OMAX (Opera Mediaworks Ad Exchange) 2.0, a real-time marketplace for efficient, automated selling and buying of mobile media.
CEO of Opera Mediaworks Mahi de Silva says of the announcement, “OMAX truly gives our publishers an advantage over their competitors when it comes to monetization of inventory.” In an article with displayplus.net, de Silva continues: “It is an equally big step for our demand-side partners. Connecting their trading desks to OMAX will give them direct access to inventory from Opera’s network of premium publishers, and allow them to select segments of the audience, now over half a billion strong — so they are paying only for consumers that they intend to reach.” (Read more here.)
Another exciting announcement made today was the launch of our latest mobile ad-serving and monetization product, AdMarvel for Ad Networks. Built exclusively for mobile phone, tablet and connected TV, AdMarvel for Ad Networks “provides the sales, technology and back-office services necessary for online and mobile advertising companies to build and scale their own ad networks.”
MWC runs until February 27, and you don’t want to miss it. Don’t forget to stop by and say hi, ask questions, or chat with us at our booth, located in Hall 5, Stand C21 and in the App Planet pavilion (Hall 8.1, Stand I16).
