The Cannes Lions festival of creativity is a place where the great creative work is honored. Clients and their agencies come to network, and celebrate their accomplishments together with fantastic speakers and even more fantastic events. In recent years, the advertising technology industry has also joined in for the festivities in Cannes, making it the only global advertising event of its kind.
Opera Mediaworks endeavors to be the leaders in mobile advertising technology and product development. We sell advertising to the Fortune 500 brand advertisers around the world, and for us Cannes is a remarkable opportunity to meet with our agency partners, and the clients whose advertising budgets they manage.
Cannes is certainly over the top. On Monday, we took our clients ‘flyboarding’ (see the video here) and throughout the week we’ll be hosting our agency customers on the Mobile Mafia yacht, which we are co-sponsoring ,and taking them on a brunch excursion to St. Tropez on Thursday.
Cannes is a fantastic opportunity for us to get quality time to speak to our agency partners, often with their clients present, about their needs and challenges. If we’re aligned with their needs, we can better build technology and products to help them achieve their goals.
